Hello and thanks for stopping by! The photo was taken at Puente de Dios
near Tomasopo, Mexico. It is one of the most beautiful diving locations
anywhere. With every trip to Mexico I try to include Puente de Dios
in my plans.
I've had a love for animals, the outdoors and adventure for as long as I can remember. At the young age of 6 years I won a goldfish at a carnival and for the past 37 years fish have been a part of my life. In 1972 my interest was captured by cichlids after observing the curious behavior of these colorful fishes. Like with most people, the more the fish reproduced, so did the number of aquariums and my level of interest and involvement. I'm a lifetime member of the American Cichlid Association. Over the years I've been fortunate enough to have good friends in different parts of the world. I've been able to travel through Mexico extensively guided by Juan Miguel Artigas Azas and make one diving trip to Lake Malawi with Ad Konings. There is nothing like observing the fish you have a passion for in their natural environment. Through other businesses that I've been involved with, I've been able to travel to many different parts of the world. I am truly amazed at the differences in culture I've observed from Australia, Hong Kong, Europe, Mexico, Central and South America in comparison to the USA. San Antonio, Texas is where I call home. Most of my work time is spent caring for the fish I breed or developing products like an exclusive line of fish food for my company, Exotic Tropicals. For enjoyment I like live music, traveling, aquatic literature and anything outdoors, especially sky diving. Yes, I jump out of perfectly good airplanes for fun. Don't knock it until you try it! This photo was taken of me and a few of my friends hanging around on a helicopter. This is my idea of a relaxing afternoon! Thanks for stopping by the site and enjoy your visit!
